Working in partnership with Central Coast Council, Blackash provided specialist bushfire advice to assist Council with creating best practice approaches to improve resilience for high-risk communities.

Blackash worked closely with council to develop a practical and tailored approach to help mitigate the effects of bushfire, providing bushfire protection of six Community Halls across the Central Coast Local Government Area.

Blackash met with council representatives at each site to understand the management regimes and develop a suite of upgrade options to improve safety for the halls. The Blackash report for each hall was used by Council to supporting funding applications to upgrade each of the halls.
