A bushfire feasibility study was completed to investigate the capability and general suitability of the site for future Residential Aged Care Facility. The feasibility study found that the surrounding bushfire prone land was low risk, yet the requirements for vulnerable development in Planning for Bushfire Protection would reduce the yield of the development. The client withdrew from purchasing the property and found alternative site that provided greater certainty. The advice Blackash™ provided formed the basis of an objective cost benefit analysis for the client.
